Our Co operative society was first established as SBI Staff Co-operative Society Ltd., Visakhapatnam on 11.10.1993 under Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Society Act 1964. Our Society was converted to SBI Staff Mutually Aided Co Operative Credit Society under Andhra Pradesh MACS Act 1995 with Regd No.AMC/VSP/DCO/2002/682. SERVICES OFFERED
Retirement Gift:
Members of the Society will be paid an amount of Rs.5,000/- (minimum) to Rs.15,000/- (maximum) at the time of retirement . The amount payable to members on retirement is calculated as Rs.500/- multiplied by the number of years of society membership.
Director/Staff member of the society will be paid an amount Rs.5000/- a the time of retirement.
Insurance:
Our Society offers insurance coverage to the amount equal to loan amount. In the event of unfortunate demise of the member, the insurer repays the total loan amount to the society. Our Society refund the amount to the bereaved family members after deducting the outstanding loan amount from the insurance amount.
Funeral Expenses:
In the event of unfortunate demise of the member, the bereaved family needs immediate financial support. To provide immediate relief to the family of a member dying in harness, our society will pay an amount of Rs.10,000/- to the bereaved family members to meet the funeral expenses.
Children Scholarship:
For Children who cleared Degree Exams (1st, 2nd, 3rd year) or equivalent - Rs.1500/-

For Children who cleared SSC or equivalent - Rs.1000/-
​
For Children who cleared 9th Class - Rs.900/-
​
For Children who cleared 8th Class - Rs.800/-

For Children who cleared 7th Class - Rs.700/-
​
For Children who cleared 6th Class - Rs.600/-

For Children who cleared 5th Class - Rs.500/-
